An informal class where participants could be shown how (and told why) to carry out everyday car maintenance.
Basic car maintenance skills - eg knowing how to check oil, tyre pressure, change a wheel, etc. Could also include possible warning signs of trouble ahead and anything else considered useful to know. I no longer drive and I know cars have many inaccessible sealed units now, but there are still basic skills and knowledge which can both get you out of scrapes and save you money. Especially useful for women who are likely to be overcharged when they don't understand basics.
Good idea but don't see why men can't come also?
