Malta has proven that it is fast to adapt to change and in the uptake of new technologies. Thanks to the investment of Nationalist Governments it has also developed into a hub for digitization especially in the gaming and financial services sectors. This momentum should now be migrated towards other industries. One such industry could be the Manufacturing industry were in the past years there has been an increased trend in digitalisation (see Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things)
