Implement a series of measures to promote electric cars. Aim for 90% electric cars in 10 years. Getting stuck in traffic would be so much better without all the fumes and noise.
I'm in favour but where do we recharge the battery?? Also where do we dispose of old batteries?? Only 1 out of every 4 cars is garaged. I am more in favour of hybrids.
Jennifer - you can charge the electric car at home and the batteries are recyclable. Moreover there is a good network of charging points already. However, as part of encouraging the uptake of electric cars, the government could force public car park to have 2 charging bays for every 100 cars capacity, governmental offices should have a charging bay and the government could build more solar powered charging stations like the one in ta xbiex.
