Isn't it the time that the principle of equal pay for equal work be adopted in the Health Sector. Some professionals are stuck in their respective grade while their colleagues get much higher salaries as their pay is controlled by a Contract of Work other than by Salary Scales. This has to stop immediately and for the sake of justice all professionals must be put on a Contract of Work. This will also prevent the severe brain drain in this sector. Will a new Nationalist Govt tackle this issue?
a definite YES. ALL professionals working with the civil service should be given a DECENT contract of work with a well deserved salary package rather that keep them on the government salary scales.
