Workers at the Hospitality industry including managerial levels should get an incentive such as an automatic pay rise after 2 years, 5 years service with the same company and followed every five years of service. This will incentive all those hospitality workers in hotels. We all know how difficult it is to find people working in the hotel industry. Also , I suggest that the owners will be bound by law on a yearly basis to deliver a percentage of the profits amongst the workers.

I support such an idea as bieng supposedly one of the most important sectors in the Maltese industry a pay rise every two years is reasonable given that the hospitality industry ups its prices every so often and boast of good turnover with great profit every year, but when it comes to wages they say we do not have enough budgeted for wages and should be careful as we could go under...
