Similar as Malta Enterprise promotes Maltese industries in other markets, the government shall select high profile art fairs and have a presence promoting pre-qualified Maltese artists (selected by a professional board) in new markets (not just Venice Biennale). We all know that we have a lot of local talent but the local market is small and hence cannot make a living out of it and artists end up doing jobs that are not related to their passion and hence risk of losing local talent.
