The future is self-drive cars, especially in urban centres. Many car trips in Malta are short distance, therefore such technology is ideal for us. It will be a cheaper form of travel as commuters will not need to pay yearly insurance, service fees etc. Such cars constantly on the road will not take up parking spaces and serve the purpose of tailor-made trips. Let's study the technological developments outside the EU and participate in international fora discussing legislation on this technology.
