It would be extremely beneficial for our young men and women to serve in the army and learn some discipline, like they do in Italy. This would reduce criminality amongst our young people.
Agreed totally, although I'll caveat by not restricting this to army conscription but saying that some period of obligatory higher education or vocational training (whether through army conscription or apprenticeships in industry) up to the age of 21 should be mandatory.
This should be limited to 6 months.
