We will provide a plan for Gozo to become a zero carbon island region by 2030 by strongly incentivising renewable forms of energy e.g. solar energy, free electric car charging.
This is all very good and I fully support the aim, but one has to consider that also proposing to build a tunnel linking the two islands goes against this principal aim, unless the tunnel is built to service a train service only, rather than encouraging a massive increase of cars on the island.
