I would like to propose the setting up of a monitoring board for Maltese students studying abroad. There is certainly a brain drain and loss of human capital because many Maltese graduating abroad find work and settle down outside the country. We find ourselves in a situation where we need to import foreign expertise. I believe Maltese graduates are just as capable of filling up these positions hence we should try our best to bring them back home.
