Reducing teenager substance abuse through sports & other

Increased funding for organised sports and other activities, aimed particularly at teenagers who need and deserve better accessibility to such activities. Many substance abuse stories start in the teenage years, ranging from smoking to hard drugs. A teenager who is actively involved in a community of sports and/or other activities such as theatre, art, crafts etc, is less likely to experiment with substances. Educational campaigns are important but not enough.
