Parents who encourage and enroll their children in sports nurseries or clubs (any sport) are to be given a tax refund at the end of the year. A similar initiative was done in Iceland a few years ago and in a short period of time the country experienced a sports boom! Moreover the National Sports School in Pembroke should conduct independent scouting in all primary and secondary schools around Malta and offer sports bursaries to promising future athletes!
