The non-taxable band is increased from the current 10,000 euro to 15,500 euro. This increase will then effect the other bands - hence from 15,501 up to 23,500 euro taxed with 15%; from 23,501 up to 34,500 taxed with 20% and from 35,000 up to 60,000 taxed with 25%. Also eligibility criteria for social benefits such as those related to the in-work benefit are increased so as more families can benefit from this social measure.
