Single parents who are over 30 years of age and who are not earning less than €.10,000.00 per annum, should be given the opportunity to buy an apartment at a convenient rate not exceeding €.80,000.00 to be paid by the parent and the difference and not more than€.40,000.00 to be subsidized by the government. The Bank interest will also be subsidized and in line with European banks which at the moment is at the rate of 1.2% per annum up to a maximum of 30 years. Apartments should be at least 70 sq

Mts having a kitchen/dining/sitting, at least 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Government should immediately embark on developing such apartments which should cater for these needs.
