This shouldn't just be a suggestion. I fractured my femur 3 years ago because of our pavements. They are a disgrace and should be given priority. I have to watch where I step because I don't want a repeat. Elderly people who use walkers with wheels always literally find themselves in a rut never mind people in wheelchairs. Sometimes it's easier to just walk on the tarmac which is dangerous in itself.
