Local Councils Reform

Local Councils Reform

Local Councils need to be given more legislative powers than they actually have. Councillors are the people who are in constant contact with citizens and they are also the ones who know the exact needs and challenges of the particular locality. Hence bureaucracy should be reduced, more finance should be allocated to councils and given the opportunity to increase their annual budget by retaining finance deriving from warden fines! Let us strengthen local councils!
