We pay taxes when we buy property, spend a life-time paying back a mortgage, then anyone inheriting that property needs to pay tax again. This is the most unfair tax of all considering the amounts to be paid.
While I agree that it's not nice to pay tax, this is an important stream of revenue for any Government - indeed, practically everywhere around the world are such taxes imposed. It's just a reality that has to unfortunately be faced. On a positive note, the tax rate is not that high.
