Introduce the concept that sick leave may be availed of not only when you fall ill, but also when your children are sick. In this way, you can rest assured that when your children are unwell you can be present by their side. This measure will be implemented following consultation with employers in order to reduce abuse of the sick leave system, to enhance loyalty in employment and to encourage people who are raising a young family to remain in the workforce.
